yesteryday, i watched the online sermon by pastor khong... interesting sermon. serious sermon... need lots of thinking and its really chim! the sermon was about starting points and fixed points. if we really noe the fixed points in life, we wont get lost. so... he shared about the points.. interesting... and its quite touching too.... he shared about john 1, about the beginning. den, i was questioning myself abt what he said... thought abt it for quite some time... do i really know God? do i really noe God in every single thing that i do... seriously, i dun really think so. at times i do, bt at times, i dont... somtimes, i wonder.. what are my fixed points in life? and... so, yes! the sermon was like a lesson... and it was rather complicated when they show us the video of a cell. lol! confusing.. but, amazing! sometimes, we really need this kind of sermon to wake us up. hahaah!
i rmb someone saying this:
The point that sets things in proper perspective for us is looking at things from the vantage point of Christ's return. Looking at our lives and our situations from the viewpoint of Christ's return reminds us that all we see around us is temporary, while what God has given us and done for us in Christ is forever.Have you ever, while reading a tense part in a suspense novel, looked ahead to the end of the book to make sure a favorite character was still around? If he is, your anxiety about what he's going through in the middle of the book is considerably lessened, because you know it's only temporary. At the end of the book he or she will be alive and well. so, what is the middle part? it is life. i've read the ending... i noe what is the ending. and difficulties that im going to face in life is nothing, its temporary... because i noe at the end, i live. and if u truely know what it means, u will lead life differently.
today, i spent my afternoon watching videos in youtube.. it was about testimonies of muslims that converted into christians. amazing videos that touched my heart. seriously, i find it so hard to believe that there is no God. i mean, there must be definitely a creator of the things around you. earth itself is something amazing. did u realise that everything is well planned? i took some time to look at myself today. and i realised that i am a wonderful creation. i can move my hands, i can walk, i can talk, i can see. everything works well. and whats more? i have life.

amazingly, i found a picture of john 1.
