i just changed my blog song. i was looking for this song for ages... i could not find it because i dunno wads the title. hoho. i just happen to pop by a person's blog and when i heard the song.. i was like "AH! THAT SONG!" anyway, i first heard this song at santification week early this year. i just took some time to think of what has been happening since tt day. it was santification week that brought me back to God. my life as a christian has not been a very smooth journey.
from the time i accepted christ, which was more than 2 years back, i thought that christianity was just a religion whereby ppl go to church and thats all. during the holidays in sec 1, i went for encounter camp where i encountered God. that was a turning point in my life. that 3 days camp made me realise alot of things and had answered alot of my questions about life. it was after that camp, that i saw transformation in my life, in every area. i also received tongues at the encounter camp and i became very close to God and could feel God's presence wherever i go. then, in 2007 was a year of victory. i went for alot of conferences and camps. it was a period of time whereby my faith was tested. den, it was the 100k campaign. at that time, i was very excited about sharing and knowing more about Jesus. and so, i took up the challenge and sign up to be one of the 5000 warriors the church was looking for. the 100k campaign wasnt tt bad... but after the 100k campaign, i backslided. well, i dun think the reason is because of the 100k campaign but by some other things. after that, it was ups and downs, like a roller coaster ride. i doubt the existence of God. sometimes i wonder "is there really a God that loves me?" sometimes, its really so hard to believe. i asked God for many things, but i didnt understand why he didnt answer my prayers. and because of that, i doubt God even more. but still, i went to church....... just for the sake of going.
the 2nd turning point of my life was during santification week in february. at that time, i realised that my heart was harden. it just feels empty. on the 2nd day of the santification week, kelly prayed for me and God just started working in my life. ha! i can still rmb how badly i cried during santification week. ok. i really cant describe how i was feeling at that point of time. i just felt God's love for me. after tt still nt enough. they showed us a music video... (the song is the one in my blog now XD) and i continued crying.... after santification week, i started open cell with a group of friends and we brought 2 ppl to christ. God started showing me things in my life.. he started to break me... there was a point of time where i experience alot of brokenness (which amazingly, was continous). my studies, relationships with people, everything. i was so discouraged and disappointed, but God held my hand through the darkest moment of my life. I started relying on God's strength and know that he is in control of everything. and after i got up and learnt to rely on God's strength, i went through another period of brokenness. it was abt open cell. open cell was God's calling for me and when i didnt see transformation, i wondered if it is really God's calling. i was very disappointed when ppl dun appear and when things dun go right. but God made me learn that the open cell is not mine. its His..
ive faced many storms in life and was very disappointed by many things. i felt as if i was crushed.. But through all the brokenness, i became a strong christian, learning to rest in the storm and trusting in God. Now i know that christianity is not a religion whereby ppl go to church everyday to sing songs and listen to sermon. its more than just that... looking back, im glad that i had made the choice to receive Christ into my life and ive never regretted that choice. i choose to take the narrow path marked by suffering, sorrow and sacrifice tt leads me to eternal joy and glory. and not the paved road filled with applause, status, security, success, but leads to destruction.

GOD is always faithful
