today is both a nice day and a horrible day. YAHAHA! well, school was rather boring. lots of worrying stuff and at first, i was quite troubled but....... after school, i went to do CIP at Light and Love Elderly Day Care Centre with meiling and zijian because we did not go on monday. and i think the day care centre was set up by christians because it was stated there and there a verse hanging on the wall saying "it is more blessed to give than to receive"... oh well, it had quite a fun time there and i think zijian funny! we went there to mop the floor and zijian was talking alot of rubbish and i think the way he mops the floor is really funny. oh well, after we mob finish de floor, we went to talk to the elderly. zijian was talking to this lady in chinese and i dunno what they were talking about but she suddenly said in chinese "thank God!" so i asked her if shes a christian. and she said to me happily "I BELIEVE IN JESUS!" oh anyway, i was happily chatting with her... and she was telling me alot of things and i caught some of the things she said... she said something loud and clear that struck me. (in chinese)
"REMEMBER! do not be disappointed by things in life. as long as you pray, God will definately open doors for you and light up your path". my translation might not be very fantastic but i noe she meant that way. her words really touched my heart. and shes already 80 years old. and well, theres an indescribable feeling when i see old people knowing God and.. shes like so devoted... and the words she spoke to me was really encouraging, it was the words that i needed... den she started sharing with me how she brought 2 ppl from that daycare centre to Christ... she told me that everyday, she will go to the centre and pray. and she said this "we have come to this world to share about Jesus!" oh well, i find it quite hard to believe that those words came out from a 80 year old granny. shes already 80 years old and is still winning souls for Christ. so amazing!
after CIP, i went to eat chendol with meiling. hahaha! and after that, i went back home to play badminton with denise! i was playing badminton with her at the basement carpark. and haha!! shes very funny! i cannot stand her! and she kept aiming the shuttlecock at my face!! and it hit my face once. LOL! yup! its very fun! lalalala... its really nice meet up with ppl in church to chit chat and play games. i can tell her all sorts of rubbish and she'll understand what im saying! HAHA! and den denise kept laughing at me when i miss. anyway, shes lame la. ive never seen such a lame adult before. HAHA! den, we play until we were sweating madly! HAHAH!! after that, we met up with yingzhi and my cell ldr, kelly, at jec for dinner. had a great time chatting. and i havent seen yingzhi for dunno how many months already. HAHAHA! and so.. i went back feeling like a zombie.. i was so tired! hahahhaa!
i was reminded that when Jesus carried his own cross, the crowd spat at him and was cursing him. But he wasnt angry and continued walking. simply because God love those people.
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23...
