hello! ive been doing fine for the past few days. i got back all my results and i am quite happy with my results! YES! PRAISE GOD! i did not really spend much time with God during the exams period, yet God is faithful. actually, after the day that God spoke to me abt serving in hospital ministry, i already felt that getting back whatever results is not important anymore. its like... God has soooooo much more for me... does a piece of paper determind anything about my life? so i was telling myself that whatever result i get, i will praise God! i heard of this statement before...
'if christians praise God more, the world will doubt him less". anyway, i am really happy with my results. thank God for it.
yesterday, i was feeling unwell so i didnt go to school. i was lying on my bed, reading the book that i borrowed from Shuwen... "HEAVEN IS SO REAL". the book is about God's revelation to a lady. how God brought her to heaven and hell. at first, i was reading it and i didnt really believe it... its like... the way she described heaven is like... so perfect until u find it very very hard to believe. only until she described hell. den it seemed real. i was reading and reading... den there was this clear image in my head of what the author was describing... like ppl screaming and running around. it was rather terrifying. the book really spoke to me, esp for the first few pages.. about the ministry that God has called the author to do. her questions were similar to what i asked God abt the hospital ministry. and the answers were amazing.. i was staring at it for about 20 seconds? HAHAHA!! interesting book.... but i only finish reading half of it! HAHA!
today, after the tiring training, i rushed for cell. took a bus den mrt then walked there. i was like half dead already. HAHA! today's cell was quite alright and a little fun. aiya, actually most of the time is funny la. HAHA! well, today's cell was more like a talking session. dun lin asked all of us what are the precious and important things in our lives. my answer was God.. bt when she said "den can u give up everything for God?" den there was alot of thoughts running thru my mind... actually, i am still wondering what is this 'everything'? ... my studies? God has already taught me to let go of it. financially? i think God will provide everything. friends? depends la. . i think the only thing that i really cannot let go is my family.. both spiritual and physical. both also quite impt to me. my family provides for me and really take care of me. my spiritual family is there to encourage me. probably because we go thru many similar things thats why they understand the things that i face in life. dunno lei... wait till God tell me to give up something for him den i will noe if i can really give it up. HAHAHA! yea.. den, we were told to pray for each other and i was telling yixin about my open cell in sch... hmmm.. dunno what else to do, and quite fearful abt whats going to happen next year. den she prayed for me... felt very encouraged by her words :)
the year of sabbath is ending soon... HAa! nxt year is going to be exciting
