hello!!! headstart is finally over! lols! anyway, o lvl chinese finally ended and on wednesday night, i went to TCT for the my hope singapore training.. it was quite boring and i almost wanted to slp.. bt when the pastor showed us a video, the whole church was laughing madly. it was sooo funny! ahaha! cannot stand it! it was a drama on the x'mas party. and gt 1 mediacorp actor inside the video, so its even more funny. anyway, it reached home at about 11pm that day and i was sooooo tired tt i almost slept during lesson the nxt day! AHAHAH!
today, is another special day! because... i went for hospital visit! yay!!! anyway, i went alone today because denise wasnt feeling well and eeling has basketball training. at first i didnt really want to go cus im quite scared to go alone. but how can i think that way? so anyway, i went there alone and as usual, met the pastor. when i saw him, he was ordering his kopi so he asked me if i wanted to go up myself first cus there were a few ppl who came the first time and he need to brief them.. so, i went myself and he gave me the volunteer card. so anyway, i went up and was quite lost because i could not find the patient that i visited last week. i think she has been discharged. she looked rather healthy when i saw her last week... so i walked around ward 57 and 58 like.... 5 times? finally decided to talk to an uncle that kept looking at me.. he was quite ok but i didnt really talk much to him because he doesnt seem to want to talk to me... so after awhile, i told him to rest well and walked away... anyway, i kept walking around the ward la! and the patients kept looking at me like im a weirdo. AHAHAH!! den i went to find uncle tan, the one i visited last week. and he could still rmb me. HEHE! he starting chatting with me and tell me stories of selfish ppl he had met. interesting guy. and he looked better today. he said that ytd he went back home to touch the walls but den he didnt felt well so he came back. talk talk talk to him for awhile den he introduced to me 2 patients that was beside him...
so i started talking to them... theres one uncle (uncle yap) that is quite fat... and cute... and another (uncle chew) one tt is quite shy and is older. uncle yap is very funny.. he talk talk talk and asked me why i come to hospital instead of going shopping.. so i told him i dun like shopping. anyway, going to hospital to visit patients is much much much more meaningful than shopping. den he kept talking rubbish with me and asked me what cca i was in and wad school. den i told him i was in NPCC and my rank is.... lance coporal and he started laughing and said "AHAHAHA! hao diu lian oh!" haha! even patient laugh at my rank. lols!! den he showed me his card and gt this police smth smth.. so i thought that he was a police.. and i was like "WOWWWW!" den he started laughing and said "ns la ns!" den i look closely. LOL! is NS! not police. i got tricked by him! funny guy... den he told me to help him go down and buy pineapple juice and ice jelly. and he said it quite softly because he didnt want the nurse to hear! HAHAH! so he was very very very happy when i got him what he wanted. haha!
den i talked to uncle chew! he looked quite bored... and he told me that he stays in jurong west, near huayi. and he told me alot of things la.. like his grandsons and things like that... and he told me that he was warded because he fell in the toilet and his backbone was pain. but now its better already and he would be discharged next week :) den he told me that one of his grandson is in fuhua sec and in sec3. so im still wondering who it is because i dun think i noe anyone with a surname 'chew'. maybe is not in fuhua sec but in huayi. ahhaa! so interesting right? den he started talking to a patient that was sitting opposite him. and i saw a gentlemen sitting beside him and i was thinking "it must be his son". but after that... when i went back to meet pastor patrick, he was there and he said "EH! u are also a volunteer? i tot ure the patient's daughter!" and i was like "HAHA! i tot ure the patient's son!" so we started laughing.
i had an enjoyable time today and im so glad that i was able to do something for the patients. and the most happy thing is! my mum allow me to go to the hospital regularly!!! YAY!!! i actually lied to her that i was going out with my frens bt before stepping out of the house, i decided to tell her the truth...
WHEE HA! tmr's church service is going to be SOOO exciting. cant wait.
