hello! my computer crashed!!! thats why i could not blog for the past week... well, i have no idea why it crashed... but its time for it to die... i used it for quite long already... and now, i am using my mum's laptop. well, my dad is still trying ways to save my laptop... cant he just let it die? HAHA!
anyway, yesterday i went to NUH again, with denise... pastor patrick didnt go because hes in overseas. and last week, he told me to visit the 2 patients we visited.... and so, off we go to the isolation rooms. first, we wanted to find Anna, then her mum came out and told us tt she now bu fang bian, later den go in... den she started talking to us lor... her mum was very friendly.... after that, cus she tell us later den go in, we went to walk around the wards first... and then went back... her mum told us that she wanted to rest cus shes feeling breathless and shes going for x-ray later... den she kept saying sorry tt we wasted our time going there, but she still let us go in and say hello to her... the atmosphere quite weird la... bt she still smiled to us... i didnt realise that her mum was fighting back her tears until i read denise's blog. i was constantly looking at the patient's face. but we went out of the room, denise was telling me how sad she feels for anna and one thing that struck me was when she said "anna's mum must be really upset to see her daughter struggling like that, then if God see us struggling like that, wont he be even more upset?"
after that, we went to see the 2nd patient... lets just call him uncle lim. i think pastor patrick led him to Christ a mth ago..... so we went in, hes supposed to have a bone marrow transplant on friday, but somehow, they postpone it... den he was telling us that he hasnt been sleeping well and he has no appetite. den i read a verse to him... from acts 2:25-28. few days before that, i was asking God for a verse to bless him... den somehow, i flipped to that page and saw it... and it was very relevant, so i used that verse. and den he was like nodding his head... after that, he asked if we could pray for him... so i prayed for him. LOL! its my first time praying for a patient... and it was quite scary la... but pray finish le, feel very shuang. lol...
currently, i have a problem... holiday is ending soon and i dunno if my parents will let me continue going NUH every week when school reopens... and because of that, i cant ask pastor patrick for the permanent volunteer pass. and the biggest problem is, i dun dare to ask my parents.... bleh!
