last night, i had a terrible dream. i dreamt something ridiculous bt scary. a cat turned into a monster and it frightened all of us. anyway i woke up feeling scared and i went to sleep in my parent's room. HA!
today, i finally went to NUH! 2 weeks never go le, feels kinda nuah leh... bt well, i sensed tt something terrible would happen and so i prayed tt anna would be alright. first thing i did when i stepped into NUH was to go to ward 58 and look for anna. walked past the isolation room and i didnt see anna's name. i didnt want to ask the nurse bt the nurse asked me who i was looking for. and den she told me to contact anna's family and i knew what happened. Anna passed away last week. i got a shock although it is like expected. the thing i dreaded most happened. kok choon and anna was the first 2 patients tt i visited in the isolation room. and both of them passed away in this month. i didnt cry as much compared to tt time when the nurse told me tt kok choon passed away. probably because i didnt really had a chance talk to Anna although i did talk to her mum. i visited anna twice and she always smile at me although she is in pain. i believe anna's mum must be feeling really depressed now. everytime i go NUH. be in on a saturday, thursday, friday or tuesday, anna's mum is ALWAYS there. usually i see her dad too. and like i said before, anna's mum de face becomes more and more sad every time i see her. ahh. i dunno what to say. anna is only 22 years old!!
after stoning for some time outside ward 58, i decided that i shld not let this affect me again. i sms larry and he told me tt edmund had a bone marrow transplant last week and so i decided to talk to him. washed my hands and i went to the isolation room.... and tt guy looked at me weirdly... erm... edmund is 21 years old.. he is not suffering from leukemia, but his bone marrow did not function well so he had a bone marrow transplant from his brother. and he is quite positive... when i went into the room, he was enjoying the music tt was playing from his phone and reading his magazine. he seems quite happy. he told me tt i visited him at the right timing because he is feeling alright today... previously, gt a few other volunteers visited him but he could not talk and they were talking to his parents only. he told me tt he will be discharged next week.. and he dun haf to serve in NS anymore. lols. well, hope he can be discharged soon...
