what is Love?
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
i struggle to love certain people. it is such a difficult thing to do. To simply allow people to hurt you and reject you, but still continue to love. It often brings about pain and suffering. loving someone that doesnt deserve it is an even more difficult thing!
"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that" sometimes, we even struggle to love the people that love us, like our parents. what more for sinners?
it is difficult to love. thats why God's love for us is so amazing. he love us even though we sin against him and hate him. Wow! loving someone that hates you! can u imagine that? few weeks ago, God spoke to me in John 13. John 13 is about Jesus washing his disciples' feet. washing a person's feet is a servant's job, and he wanted to show his disciples the full extent of his love. Jesus knew that one of his disciples would betray him yet he still love him.

i think its time for me to come back to the love of God, to love.
