I HAVE AN AMAZING TESTIMONY TO SHARE TODAY!today is another interesting day at NUH. i didnt go to NUH for the past 2 weeks due to CNY. anyway, today i was so reluctant to wake up because i was sooo tired. i snooze my alarm clock for 15mins lor. HAHA! but thank God i went!
i visited a university lecturer today. actually im not too sure what his condition is about because he kept talking about other things.. i think he is rather weird.. LOL! but anyway, he is nice because he gave me a packet of oreo. HAHA!
then, i saw mr koh you tian. i could not recognise him due to the loss of hair. i chatted with him awhile.. i think i blogged abt visiting him before, i realised that i made a mistake. his white blood cell count was 391000 and not 30000. normal white bood cell count is 4000-10000. i was so shocked lah! 391000 is crazzzzyyy! and he told me that his white bood cell count is now 2000, which is good. i think God is really working in his life. his condition is really improving.
after that, i took out my super chinese chess and we started playing. i wanted to play with him long time ago, but when i bring the chess set, he is not there. when i never bring the chess set, he is there. LOL! anyway, i was badly defeated in the game. we only played once because his wife came and brought his lunch over.. so as mr koh was eating, i was chatting with his wife.
anyway, i realised that mr koh received Christ on the SAME DAY as his mother! so interesting.. anyway, Mrs Koh was telling me the whole story of how her mother-in-law received Christ. mr koh's mum is actually a staunch buddhist but one day, Mrs koh sensed that she had to ask someone from the ministry to visit her mother-in-law, but she didnt know how to approach them. one day, she was attending a funeral and the pastor in charge of that ministry was sitting right beside her and so she went to ask her to visit her mother-in-law.
so anyway, the pastor, together with another pastor, went to visit her mother-in-law at St Luke hospital. Mrs Koh told me that her mother-in-law cannot really hear and they always had difficulties communicating with her. also, her mother-in-law do not understand english. however, on the day the pastors visited her mother-in-law, she could hear them clearly and could even understand them in english! so after that day, her mother-in-law wanted to receive Christ. the pastors led her to say the sinner's prayer and after saying the sinner's prayer, she could not hear again... (WOW!)
ahh! isn't this amazing? i just felt so encouraged when Mrs koh was sharing with me, and how she has been praying for her husband's salvation for more than 20years. it is really according to God's timing :)
