International G12 conference.

woo. the G12 conference was over in a flash... there were 21 sessions and SAD TO SAY, i missed 3 sessions. it was tiring for the body, but had provided strength for the spirit. it started on thursday and ended on sat. it is my 3rd time attending G12 conference and this time round i received alot from it.

actually, i feel that it is abit too fast already. alot of information at one time and i still need some time to slowly process. but i caught some things that really applied to me. i actually went to G12 with a heavy heart and i was expecting alot from it. but yeah, i left G12 changed.

i think methods of multiplication doesn't really apply to me yet. because i need to first deal with compassion and passion. pastor bert made a statement that shocked me. "when you see a non-believer and u make the conscious decision not to care, your heart is slowly hardened." i'm suddenly reminded of the story about the frog in the water.... the temperature of the water was slowly increased by 1 degree celcius at a time. when the water was boiling, the frogs were not even aware that there were going to die because all the time, they were so immune to the surrounding temperature. that is how the hardening of the heart is like.

the other thing is overcoming discouragement. i feel that discouragement is something that is hindering my growth. its time to say good-bye to the past failure and move on.

anyway, on friday night! i reached home at 12.10am. it is my first time reaching home soooooo late! but i think its very exciting. that night it ended at 10.30pm and we wanted to catch a shuttle bus to jurong east but in the end, we took the one to simei, which took us 30mins because it was raining and cold and there was a huge jam. but because it was so cold, there were mist on the windows of the bus and it was dark and the lightings make us feel as if we were not in singapore. and when we reached simei, we took a cab home. HAHAA!

wheee.. i feel excited again..
